Agenda: The theme of the meeting is "Improving Value in Clinical Care".

Please click here for the agenda. Registration begins at 7:15 with the first talk starts at 8:20AM. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Carri Glide-Hurst from Henry Ford.

Education Credits: We will be applying for CAMPEP and MDCB credits.

Social Event: There will be a social event at the conclusion of the meeting starting at 4:30 PM.

General Meeting Learning Objectives

Attendees will learn of advancements in the fields of radiation oncology and imaging physics, including but not limited to: the application of MRI in radiation treatment; setting recommended diagnostic reference levels and achievable CT imaging doses based on the ACR CT Dose Index Registry; improving on-time treatment delivery in the clinic;cost effectiveness of proton beam therapy; and stereotactic radiosurgery using an ExacTrac imaging system interfaced with a Varian 6D couch.

Attendees will receive an update on changes to the AAPM governance structure.

 A Young Investigators Symposium will give medical physicist residents and students an opportunity to present their research.

 Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with local vendor representatives to learn of new products and advances which may be of use in their clinics.
