NWAAPM Fall Meeting - 50th Anniversary of the Chapter

We are excited to announce that the NWAAPM’s upcoming fall meeting will be held at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA on Friday, October 24, 2025—a particularly special occasion as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our chapter!

Please save the date for a full day of programming featuring cutting-edge scientific and professional talks, including three invited presentations by leaders in our field: past AAPM President Dr. John Bayouth (OHSU), current AAPM President-Elect Robin Miller (Northwest Medical Physics Center), and AAMD President Ryan Moroose (WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals).

Speaker and Vendors Dinner: We’re inviting our meeting speakers and all of our supporting vendor partners to join us for dinner and socializing the evening before the conference. We’ll meet at 6PM on Thursday, October 23rd at Elliott Bay Brewing – Burien, located at 255 SW 152nd St, Burien, WA 98166. Please let us know by October 10th if you’ll have a representative who is able to join us so we can finalize a headcount for the restaurant. We hope to see you there!

Hotel Info: We have a courtesy block of rooms at the Seattle Airport Marriott which is very close to SeaTac and a short 10-15 minute drive to the Museum of Flight.

This block will cut off on October 2nd 3 weeks before the meeting date, so when we reach the cut-off date, any rooms that have not booked will just go back to the hotel inventory.

Submissions

If you would like to present at the upcoming meeting, please submit the following to NWAAPM@gmail.com  by August 29th.

  1. Abstract (300 word maximum)
  2. Current CV/resume
  3. 3 learning objectives (for education crediting purposes)

If you intend to submit an abstract, your registration fee will be waived if your abstract is accepted to be presented.

Attendee (no credits): $55
Student/Emeritus: $20

Late registration:
