AAPM TG-100 - Safety and Quality Workshop

Overview:  

In conjunction with the TreatSafely Foundation, the NW chapter of the AAPM is proud to offer this one-day hands-on workshop designed to help you implement, in your clinical setting, the concepts presented in the AAPM Task Group report TG-100.  

This workshop is open to all physicists, physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists in the NWAAPM region.  We are applying for CAMPEP, MDCB, and ARRT credits.


Theme:  Safety and Quality - Implementing TG-100 in your clinic.

Invited Speakers:  Todd Pawlicki, Ph.D. (UC San Diego), Derek Brown, Ph.D. (UC San Diego)

 

Registration:  There will be a $40 registration fee.

Location:  Swedish Conference Center, at Swedish Issaquah Campus, Issaquah, WA

Room:  Leadership and Knowledge rooms.

The Swedish Issaquah Conference Center is located off I-90.  It is only a 20-minute drive from downtown Seattle and is easily accessible by public transportation.

Coffee and refreshments, and a boxed lunch will be provided.  


Directions:

Traveling east on I-90

  • Take the E. Sunset Way-Highlands Drive exit (No. 18).
  • Go left at the “Y” and continue onto Highlands Drive.
  • Turn left (west) at the first traffic light onto NE Discovery Drive.
  • Turn left (west) onto 7th Ave. Employee parking is on the right.
  • From the main entrance or first floor: Take the stairs or the elevators to the second floor.
  • Once on the second floor, head toward the large “conference” sign. Enter the conference center through the large glass doors to the right of the sign.


Traveling west on I-90
